January 26, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

🔥Creating Confident Characters with Rae Lynn Carson🔥

Do you find it difficult to come up with characters on the spot while improvising? Are you having trouble staying committed to your characters? Have you always wanted to try characters out on stage but are too nervous of how silly you may look? This workshop is designed to help improvisers, sketch comedians, and actors discover the joy, fun, and wackiness in characters while remaining fully committed and doing solid improv. Rae Lynn will provide you with a safe space to allow you to experiment with characters, and to make you feel confident in the choices you make in the moment. She will teach you tons of fun exercises and tricks to help bring your characters to life at your next performance. Fear to play characters will be a thing of the past, and that’s a Rae Lynn guarantee!

Saturday 10:00am-12:00pm, $30/person, Little Mountain Gallery

Rae Lynn Carson has been a professional improviser for over 6 years. COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Health officials in British Columbia and nationally have restricted all public gatherings in order to combat the spread of COVID-19 and closed all non-essential businesses.

Little Mountain Gallery is a shared community space and has supported our showrunners in choosing to cancel their performances to encourage social isolation and prevent the spread of this illness.

Our not-for-profit business model relies on regular rentals in the space and, due to these unprecedented circumstances, we are asking for donations to ensure we are able to remain in operation through this pandemic.

Little Mountain Gallery is following the City of Vancouver's updates on this issue.

We'll be updating this message as new information becomes available.
