While Little Mountain Gallery has been an arts space since 2001, the building was erected in 1930 and originally housed Curly’s Garage. Since then it’s been a metal shop, a plumbing business, a bottle depot and then, finally, a butcher-shop.
At some point, an alleyway between our building and what’s now the corner-store was enclosed and turned into a storage area.
We affectionally call this smelly little mold-trap the Raccoon Room!
Now you can buy a sticker in tribute to this area you aren’t allowed into and explain the building’s history to anyone that’s willing to humour you!
With a semi-matte finish and split back for easy peeling, this 3″ X 3″ sticker was lovingly designed by artist Amy Trudeau!
