Comedy Shows in Vancouver, All Week Long

Little Mountain Gallery is one of Vancouver's busiest independent comedy venues, hosting live shows all week long, Tuesday through Sunday, at our home in historic Gastown at 110 Water Street. Watch stand-up, improv, sketch and alternative comedy, from weekly favourites and student showcases to touring headliners with credits on CBC, Just For Laughs, Comedy Central and HBO.

Our calendar changes constantly and there's always something on. LMG has two spaces, the larger Salazar Stage downstairs and the Raccoon Room upstairs, so we run up to four shows a night. Weeknights feature stand-up showcases, open mics and experimental shows where local comedians work out new material and new show concepts.

On weekends you can see professional headliners and signature recurring alternative-format shows like Task Show, Couples Clownselling, Pillow Talk, Comedy Bingo and Weird Owl Karaoke. Every summer we run a Comedy Competition and once a year we host our annual marathon 24 Hours of Comedy fundraiser.

All shows are general admission seating, so arriving a little early gets you the best seats. Both rooms are intimate, you're close to the stage wherever you sit. There's a full bar in the main lobby that also serves snacks. If you're looking for a meal, there are many great resturants nearby to grab a bite before the show!

Whether you're looking for comedy shows in Vancouver tonight, planning a night out this weekend or just browsing what's coming up, our full schedule is updated regularly. We usually load the calendar a few months out at a time, if you're looking for shows further ahead, just send us a message. Find a show, grab your tickets, and come see why Little Mountain Gallery is at the heart of Vancouver's comedy scene.

Vancouver Comedy Show FAQ

Little Mountain Gallery hosts comedy shows Tuesdays to Sundays. Stand-up, improv, open mics, sketch, and more in two different rooms. Most shows are 75 minutes and typically start at 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 9:00pm and 9:30pm.

Little Mountain Gallery has a wide range of Vancouver comedy: stand-up showcases and headliner shows, our weekly Improv Jam and weekly comedy Open Mic, plus storytelling, character, sketch, experimental, and monthly community-run shows. If you're looking for stand-up comedy or improv in Vancouver, the full schedule is the best place to start.

All shows and ticket links are on the calendar schedule, with new shows added regularly. You can buy tickets through Showpass, online or at our venue in person, if walk-up tickets are available. Our venue is intimate and many shows sell out in advance — especially on weekends — so we recommend buying early to guarantee a seat.

Ticket prices are set by the showrunner and can cost anywhere from $5 for a drop-in improv jam to $40 for a touring headliner, plus GST.

Tickets are non-refundable, and latecomers may not be admitted to sold-out shows.

110 Water Street in Gastown — on the south-west corner of Abbott and Water. We're between two SkyTrain stations: roughly a 10-minute walk from both Waterfront and Stadium–Chinatown, so we're easy to reach for a night out in Gastown.

All seating is general admission, so arrive early for the best spot. Doors open about 30 minutes before showtime, and latecomers may not be admitted.

Most shows contain adult themes and language. Please don't bring small children or infants; minors may be permitted with a legal-aged guardian depending on the producer's restrictions — contact the show's producer for details.

We have two spaces. The Salazar Stage (main floor) is wheelchair accessible, with power-assisted doors, an inclined platform lift, and an accessible washroom on the main floor. The Raccoon Room (second floor) is not accessible. For accessible seating or assistance, email info@littlemountaingallery.ca.
