At the Weird Audition Show actors audition with monologues that they could never use in a "normal" audition. It’s an opportunity for performers to do the weird things there’s no other place for. Things like: monologues from reality TV shows, poetry, found text, reenactments of viral videos and more. Monologues should be a bit weird - it's a comedy show after all.

Actors will be directed and redirected by Riel Hahn. Sara Bynoe will host and assist.

Come and enjoy a seat on the other side of the audition table as an audience member at The Weird Auction show.

Tickets: Tickets are non-refundable. Please arrive before showtime — latecomers may not be admitted.

Transit: 2 minutes from Waterfront Station (SkyTrain, SeaBus). Parking: limited paid street parking, plus EasyPark parkades nearby.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Salazar Stage is on the main floor. The front entrance has power-assisted doors and there’s a powered lift from street level to the main performance space.

The venue has two separate spaces, upstairs and downstairs, which don’t have the same level of accessibility — please check which room this show is in.

There are six private washrooms on the main floor, one of which is fully accessible with a power-assisted door. The theatre doors to the main space are not power-assisted at this time.
