VOLUNTEER WITH LMG

Little Mountain Gallery relies on our community of volunteers to help us run the city’s only comedy community centre.

If you want to contribute to the Vancouver comedy community in a meaningful, practical way, you’ve come to the right place. (You’re amazing! We’re obsessed with you!)

As you probably know if you’re on this page, Little Mountain Gallery offers below-market performance space to emerging and established comedy artists. As a non-profit organization, we’re currently enlisting both comedy fans, community members, and arts lovers to help us operate the space.

Little Mountain Gallery encourages applications from people from all walks of life and identities. You don’t have to be a comedian to be part of our very fun community. (But you do have to laugh at our jokes.)

We are currently accepting volunteer applications on an on-going basis, and will be running orientation sessions quarterly.

If your application is accepted, we will contact you with an invite to the next available orientation session.

  • Once you’ve completed training, you’ll be invited to our shift selection site to pick your preferred dates and times to help out

The entire process from application to your first shift will depend on factors like availability of shifts, training sessions and our own ability to check emails… but once you’re in it, we hope you’ll never want to let us go.
